Hannah Sutton is a general Chinese Medicine Practitioner.

Hannah is known for approaching her patients with great care and compassion.  With 15+ years of clinical experience, Hannah works closely with her patients to help them achieve their health goals and is dedicated to helping people improve their health and well-being.  She has a strong belief in empowering her patients in health maintenance practices such as yoga, meditation and eating healthily.

Hannah Sutton studied Chinese Medicine at the RMIT.  This involved five years of study with the final year being conducted as a clinical internship at the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in China.

At the First Affiliated Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, Hannah gained clinical experience under the guidance and influence of specialised doctors in the following departments: – Acupuncture, Gynaecology, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology, ENT & Gerontology) & Tuina (Chinese Remedial Massage).

Consultations with Hannah involve an in-depth assessment of your health.  Treatment involves a very hands-on approach combining acupuncture and bodywork.  A detailed treatment plan tailored to your individual health concerns is provided including Chinese herbal medicine /supplements, diet & lifestyle advice.  While she believes in a holistic, natural approach to health Hannah also believes in the importance of integrated medicine.  She happily works alongside other health and medically trained professionals, especially in relation to fertility enhancement.

Hannah grew up on a sheep farm in rural Victoria in the small town of Swan Hill.  After graduating from university, she travelled the world before deciding to move to the Macedon Ranges in 2009 to start a family.  She returning to her love of practicing Chinese Medicine in 2011 and slowly built her practise in her local town of Romsey while juggling family life.  In 2018 she achieved her ultimate dream of opening a wellness hub in her local town – where practitioners can work collaboratively to provide the very best care to the people in the local community.

When she’s not in the clinic you can generally find Hannah hanging out with her family (husband Denis & two daughters Imogen & Trinity).  In her spare time when she isn’t working on business you will see her with her nose in a book, pottering in the garden, cooking or working on a jigsaw puzzle.  She is also passionate about getting involved in community projects and is a member of the EMRBATA committee.

Hannah holds current registration in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
